One of the unique things about our guild is that when i started it I wanted to have a lot of officers and make it easier for the common guy that joins the guild at level 1 to become officer. Now our system is very simple, you must reach revered reputation with guild in order to be promoted to officer. Of course some friends and people I trust are already officers although they are not revered with the guild yet. I’m getting revered this week myself after 5 weeks (the 6th week just started yesterday) of the existence of the guild.

So there are some guys that are very close to revered already, and in order to promote them to officers they should reach the revered status and inform me. Now if you are a guildie and you are reading this, please make sure to let me know your reputation status, if close to revered or at least early honored, to be aware who’s in the final lap of the race to become one of our officers.

If you are not a guildie and you’re reading this then please comment about our guild promotion system and give me feedback and share your own guild promotion system with me.

As you all already know, my guild is a very new one, we are almost level 8 when other guilds in the realm are level 21-22. Most guilds started leveling on december 7th, 2010, we started months later. I was always desiring to lead a guild but I was still deciding if I was going to put effort in this new expansion or not, and if I was going to stay in my realm or not after WoTLK passed away.

So our main issue was to level this guild up. I didn’t have time to read all at the beginning, this guild started just with me and Cliff, Cliff has been a good friend of mine in-game and he was in my previous guild (where I was GM too, and which I had to leave to change faction, so he followed me to my new faction).

Being only two of us, and no members, and having a level 1 guild, was hard to level up. The starting days we were not able to cap it. But last night I saw how our guild finally capped the guild experience daily cap relatively early. And the day before too, it’s getting easier. Last night we finally reached level 8 and now we have hearthstone cooldown of 15 mins. Now I have to set my next goal perk.

I don’t know how we managed this, but we are doing it, slowly but firmly, I see guilds with 200 members that are ahead of us in leveling but we already have 600+ members so we should be able to catch em up. I invested a lot of gold and effort into this guild already and I want it to be the biggest in my realm.

So I’d say cheers for level 8 guild perk guys from Best Guild Name Ever, in 1 month we’ve gone very fast, now let’s keep rocking.

On other news, I didn’t fullfill my guild reputation weekly cap, I left it last night at 90%, but that’s enough for me to get to revered this week and with that the united nations achievement! I’m doing all my dailies and doing lot of groups with guildies for random dungeons, the more guildies I have in the group the more reputation I get, so I encourage everyone in the guild to group together. I think that’s all, feel free to criticize me or just comment about what I’m writing here.

New Mount released in patch 4.1 in World of Warcraft, Winged Guardian

Hello everyone in Azeroth,

Today I was sitting at my desk at work while a normal day was passing through in front of my eyes. But suddenly several sites posted the new incoming content for the World of Warcraft’s latest patch 4.1

One of the things I liked first, was the Amani Bear available again, after they removed the bear back in patch 3.0

Old Amani Bear:

New Amani Bear:

They have the same model just different colour, and is the best looking model for a bear ever. So finally I’ll have a chance at this bear 🙂

Also they are introducing a new pay-per-ride mount, after the Celestial Steed they bring us now the Winged Guardian, now this mount has no precedent, this is not a new color winged lion modeled after a previous ingame mount, no ladies and gentlemen, this mount is the first of its kind, the one and only winged lion, as you see in the picture above it looks awesome and will be the perfect mount for leveling chars now.

These two mount announces are what I wanted to remark among many other changes and updates posted in and MMO-Champion.

The most beautiful raid of Classic WoW

The most beautiful raid of Classic WoW

Last night one of my guild members, Eogphased, lead the guild through an old school classic raid, the Temple of Ahn Qiraj. I couldn’t get online to participate and they could get down the first five bosses in there. When she told me that this morning I answered “I’m proud of you guys, that’s the most hard raid alive from classic WoW”. They showed a good effort as team and worked together their path through the Temple.

You certainly need to know what you are doing when you go into that place, after so many years you can still wipe a whole raid in any fight if you don’t know what you have to do.

It’s a really beautiful place to visit, only challenged in design by the extinct Naxxramas-40-man.

So tonight, this friday night, I will complete what the guild started and we will down C’thun and some guildie is gonna get the eye of C’thun, will post screenshots of the events.

Also I made my calculations and we should be getting Guild Perk 8 by monday evening.

Have any of you participated in last night Ahn Qiraj raid with the guild? Was it your first time inside? What did you like the most?

Yes! Our one month old Guild reached the 7th perk today, in the morning. Now we are going to rush to get to the 8th perk this sunday or monday, depends of the guild daily cap and the effort of our 500+ current members.
